Page Counter Code
iWebTrack’s page counter code is a javascript web page counter code. In addition to the javascript web page counter code, we also offer an asp page counter code. The javascript web page counter code is more widely used due the simplicity of it. Some of our users do prefer to use the asp page counter code but they tend to be more technically advanced and experienced users. We will let you use whichever page counter code you want, but make sure you know how to use the page counter code before picking a format.
What’s more important than picking a page counter code is making sure that you actually post the web page counter code. Just because you activate your iWebTrack account does not mean you are tracking web site traffic. The final step before you can start tracking is to embed the web page counter code in your web pages. You can put the web page counter code on as many web pages as you want and we will not charge overage fees. iWebTrack bases monthly rates on cumulative page views, so the more traffic you receive the higher your rates. For this reason, we do not limit the number of pages you can put the page counter code on.
Even if you sign up for our free web page counter, the iWebTrack Dashboard, you will still need to put up the iWebTrack page counter code. The free page counter works similarly to the retail web page counter and that is by tracking traffic via the web page counter code. Main point: Put up the web page counter code!
