Javascript Page Counter

You know when you sign up for an iWebTrack account that you are using a javascript page counter.  Why is this such a big deal?  Well, in the past web analytics companies didn’t use a javascript page counter to track all of their traffic rather, these companies used cookies.  This may sound like it’s no big deal but really the problem got worse with time, and the problem was that more and more people were starting to block their cookies.  Recent reports state that an estimated 30-35% of internet users block their cookies.  This isn’t that big of a deal except that companies tracking cookies were producing inaccurate reports that were underreported.  In order to avid this issue of underreporting due to blocked cookies, iWebTrack started using a javascipt page counter which solved all of these problems.  The javascript page counter from iWebTrack is a wonderful tool in that it’s an accurate tool that tracks all web site traffic regardless of whether or not a visitor has blocked their cookies.  To sign up for a javascript page counter you simply need to create an iWebTrack account, sign up for the free iWebTrack trial offer, or download our free web tracking tool, the iWebTrack Dashboard.  No matter what type of web tracking account you have, you will use the javascript page counter because that’s what iWebTrack uses.  We do offer an asp version for those advanced users who prefer asp over javascript but the most widely used is truly the javascript page counter.
