Web Traffic Analysis Software

iWebTrack doesn’t offer web traffic analysis software.  We’re the other guys.  iWebTrack offers a hosted web traffic analysis tool to all of our customers.  A hosted web traffic analysis tool is different than a web traffic analysis software package in terms of how you use the web traffic analysis tool not necessarily the end result.  Both a hosted web traffic analysis tool and web traffic analysis software provide you with statistical reports on your web site traffic and site visitor behavior. The difference between hosted web analytics and web traffic analysis software is how you get the web stats.  Customers who use web traffic analysis software have to put in a heck of a lot more effort than customers who use hosted web analytics tools. Hosted web analytics tools like the tools iWebTrack offers are a service that a provider offers.  iWebTrack provides their customers with a hosted web analytics service which means we do all the work for you and  you pay us a monthly rate based up on your site traffic.  Web traffic analysis software is a little more difficult to use because you are responsible for installing the software, maintaining the programs, and any other trouble shooting issues that may arise.  In general, larger corporations with departments dedicated to information technology tend to use web traffic analysis software while smaller companies and personal businesses or site owners tend to use hosted web analytics programs because of the convenience and support.
